We opened Sweetty Cakes in the spring of 2008, with a vision of creating Detroit's Metro finest pastry available. I have taken all the Wilton Classes. I also enjoyed making cakes and cookies since I was a small girl with my mother. I have a Latin background and you can see and taste it in my cakes, like the chocolate FLAN and de "TRES LECHES" and many others as well as American favorites like sugar cookies and fresh strawberry Chicago style Cheesecake.

I also have given room to experiment, and created quite an extensive menu of cakes. I knew that I wanted to step beyond the kitchen and create memorable experiences for people..

Before I created my first pastry, I vowed to only use the finest ingredients, and prepare each dish with an infusion of passion and creativity. Costumers agree.
